A woman using a wheelchair sits beside two women on a bench in a parkland setting with trees in the background. They are smiling towards the camera on a sunny day.

We're developing our next Access and Inclusion Plan (AIP) for 2026–2031, and we want to hear from you.

The AIP is a key document that guides how the City works to create a community where everyone is welcomed, included, and able to access buildings, services, information, employment, and decision-making. It helps shape how we design spaces, deliver services, and plan for the future so that people with disability can take part in community life.

By sharing your feedback, you can help make Mandurah a more accessible and inclusive place for everyone.

How to Get Involved

There are several ways you can contribute to the new AIP:

  • Collect a hard copy from one of the locations listed below and return it to us. We also have an Easy Read version of the survey available upon request.
  • Take part in one of the below community workshops – either in person or online:
    • Workshop 1: 13 November 2025, 10am to 12pm - Falcon Library and Community Centre
    • Workshop 219 November 2025, 1pm to 3pm - Lakelands Library and Community Centre
    • Workshop 320 November 2025, 10am to 12pm - Mandurah Bowling Club
    • Workshop 426 November 2025, 4pm - 6pm Online workshop

Please visit the Mandurah Matters page for more details on upcoming workshops and events. We welcome feedback from people with disability, family members, carers, support workers, service providers, and anyone with an interest in access and inclusion.

Collecting a hard copy

We have created different versions of the survey so everyone can share their thoughts in a way that works best for them:

Survey Booklet – uses everyday language and includes large, clear pictures to help explain each question. This version is ideal for people who prefer more visual information and a straightforward way to respond.

Easy Read Survey – uses a specific Easy Read format with very simple language, step-by-step information, and supporting images. This version is designed for people who need extra support to answer the questions, making the process clear and accessible.

Both the Easy Read survey and the survey booklet are available in hard copy. These can be collected from:

City of Mandurah Administration Building

Billy Dower Youth Centre

Mandurah Library

Lakelands Library and Community Centre

Falcon Library and Community Centre

Mandurah Seniors Centre

If you are unable to attend one of these locations and would like to request a survey, email hcc@mandurah.wa.gov.au.
